Just a Girl

This week I decided to participate in a Scrapping the Music challenge.  The song is "Just a Girl" by No Doubt, and of course the subject of my layout is my own girlie girl LaNeecha.  I went with the pink and black color scheme since that's the color of her room.  I had so much fun putting this together because LaNeecha aka Nina is an awesome kid, I couldn't have asked for a better daughter.  Her self-esteem is off the charts, she is not afraid of the world, she's in love with history and is a fashion diva in the making.  The things that come out of her mouth amazes me.  I wish I had half of her high self-esteem and confidence when I was her age. Here is my my take on just a girl
The journaling reads: I remember the day we went to the spa for pedicures and you turned to me and  said, "Momma when people are around me they just don't know that they are in the presence of greatness." I couldn't have agreed with you more!  You are just a girl...beautiful, smart, loving, kind and destined for Greatness!

When she turned to me and uttered those words with such confidence and conviction it brought tears to my eyes, I have indeed been blessed with a beautiful daughter.
